- I am a direct descendent of James C & Melissa Weeks who purchased Drakes Salt Works in 1854. History and family heritage have always meant a lot to me and while growing up, my grandmother always related birth lines and birthdays. I grew up thinking everyone knew their ancestors the way that I did.
